Island Brisket Tostones Sliders
Island Brisket Tostones Sliders
Slow roasted Jerk rubbed Brisket Medallions, Duo of Pineapple Chutney and Pina- Colada Puree, Tostones and A Dash of Sriracha. These flavors work so well – Sweet & Spice and everything nice!
The Flavor of the Slow roasted Brisket along with it’s slightly fatty nature pairs amazingly with the acid, touch of heat and sweetness of the sauces – While the thin crispy plantains just bring everything together for the perfect textural bite that will leave your tastebuds not wanting to share!
*Dish will be slightly de-constructed to keep from the plantains getting soggy and sauces will be on the side. The Photo is a recommendation of how it should all come together, These things are Killer as an app for a party!
**Chef’s tip – For best results, place the brisket and plantains on a lightly oiled foil covered baking sheet, side by side and pop right into a preheated toaster oven (or conventional oven) for 5-8 minutes on 350 to really bring back the natural textures and optimal experience! The plantains and brisket don’t need to be hot to enjoy, but gently crisping the edges back up and taking off the chill of being in the fridge will really pay off – Serving at room temp after a quick toasting and applying your sauces is a perfect way to enjoy – Hope you love them as much as we do 😉
